I'm not sure why I paid either. I was searching for a word like program and Open Office came up as a choice through Google. They then called the program Opal Office and was offered through Hotsales. I'm sure I made a mistake somewhere along the line but I was very anxious to get a program soon. The program loaded OK, or so I thought. When I went to open it The message "The application cannot be started. An internal error occurred" appeared. I went back and tried to repair the download and that didn't work either. Do you know why this program is being charged for by Hotsales?
Any help would be appreciated. My OS is Windows XP.
Thanks for your time
Deb Raskob

Hi,
I just charged $12.00 to my charge card to get OpenOffice on Google.
I have spent all day trying to get the program to open. After
installing, and shutting down, I get an Error Message, that the file
can't be opened because of an internal error. I didn't have the money
to buy the CD too. I need the program and I need help in
troubleshooting this problem.
Thanks,
Deb Raskob

I don't know why you paid to download OOo (OpenOffice.org). The official
program can be downloaded FREE from http://www.openoffice.org

Please tell us what OS (Operating System - eg. Linux, Mac, Solaris,
Windows, etc.) you are using and what exactly the error message says,
then we should be able to help you resolve the problem.
