Dear sir/ I am a user of the writer programme in O. Office. Very pleased with its functions ,it is used for sending
illustrated ees as a attachment.

I am finding my friends are unable to open this attachment!! What am I doing incorrectly? I write the text, add a image if
required, hit the send ee mail button. Off it goes and shows up
in the sent file albeit it is slow to open. Am I wrong in
thinking that it is compatible with Word? Hope you can help

Send everyone you send files to that uses MS Office to this link

Tell them that it will make MS Office work properly with your ISO approved Open Document Format files. Tell them that Microsoft files are not ISO approved Open Document Format files and should not be used any more.

I liked this idea a lot, as an opportunity to spread the word about Open Doc and OOo/NeoOffice. However, it appears Sun only makes that plug-in available for Windows computers. That would be, *Microsoft* Windows computers. Somehow that strikes me as quite ironic. Too bad. At least 60% of my email recipients these days are on Mac or Linux, and most of those are clients so it would not be appropriate to insist they install OOo or Neo. Oh well.
