Why not?

If you're really worried, create a new user for the sole purpose of gathering
this information.  Log in, run Firefox, go to the website, get the data you're
interested in.  Save it as a text file.  Log out.  Copy the text file to your
regular home directory.  Delete the new user.

You can accomplish this for yourself with a great deal less drama, and much
more quickly and efficiently.
