I used your latest Open office and had problem with writer.
I can able to save under *.doc file, but I cannot EVEN OPEN using
Wordpad. (supplied under windows 2000) Gets me error message!
While under Microsoft Word 2003, I saved as doc and when I tried to
open the file from wordpad, worked!
Therefore, I want open office to review this as compatiablity
issue/bug with other word processor.

Sorry, but I cannot reproduce your problem. A .doc-fiel created with
OOo, can be used in Wordpad for me.
So, something else must be the problem with your situation???
