I have used OO for a couple years- never a problem. I recently installed 2.3-- no problem for a while.
Then it suddenly started prompting me to register-- I already have-- every time I opened it. Then the 'agreement' field was blank. I finally tried to un-install it or repair the installation, but it said I didn't have the 'msi' file. I tried downloading and reinstalling on top of the old, again, no luck. I tried rebooting, reinstalling, un-installing etc. (and searching for the pesky missing file) all, fruitless. I am at the point of just deleting all my OO directories, at least the 2.3one, and trying that, but I didn't want to leave a mess. I'm on WinXPhome ed. with all updates. On a fairly new Sony laptop.
