Well, apart from the other suggestions, you could download the new
Windows installer 2.0 from the microsoft website:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=CEBBACD8-C094-4255-B702-DE3BB768148F&displaylang=en
and install it
this will update your system files and solve any issues!!!!
