Thanks for that. However, it's for for freebsd, not windows. I'm aware there's a pdf plugin for cups; however the asychronous nature of unix printing would make life hard I believe. (I'm currently using bullzip pdf printer under XP on another m/c; it's is a bit unhelpful about default paths, so I may give cutepdf a look in anyway.) I'm checking at present whether there's a solution using psbook -- I'm hoping maybe I can get postscript out of openoffice somehow (via pdf and ghostscript possibly) and psbook would then be able to assemble this in the way I want. Maybe :-) If I find a workable solution, I'll get back to the list - may as well get any answer archived. -- various incoming sites blocked because of spam; see http://www.scottsonline.org.uk for a list and openpgp crypto key (key fingerprint 2ACC 9F21 5103 F68C 7C32 9EA8 C949 81E1 31C9 1364) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
