Hello Pat, No, I'm afraid OpenOffice.org will not run on a computer with Mac OS 9.1. You have two options: either update your OS to Jaguar (OS 10.2) or later (if possible) and then you can run an 'legacy' version of OOo (1.1.5 I believe); or install a Linux (Yellow Dog?) partition on your computer and then you can run the newest version (2.3 at this time) of OOo.
