[users] HELP?

I purchased the open office 2.2 download with the understanding that it would 
work just like microsoft.  I am doing an open office impress slide show and 
trying to take the slide show to another computor with powerpoint and play it 
and powerpoint can't read the slide show; it won't play?  What am I doing wrong?
