First, there is no need to purchase any OpenOffice download. OpenOffice is Free Software and you can download the latest version here: http://www.openoffice.org The latest version is 2.3. It is absolutely free of charge and everyone is welcome to download and use it. Nobody will ever send you a bill, there is no catch. Second, Microsoft Office can't read the default format that OpenOffice saves documents and presentations in. This is a shortcoming in Microsoft Office, not in OpenOffice. OpenOffice uses an international standard for saving documents. You can tell OpenOffice to save your documents in a format that Microsoft Office can read by selecting "Save As" instead of "Save" and then pick the Microsoft format off of the list of available formats that shows up. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
