My apologies--that came out much stronger than I meant it to. I
certainly realize that it's not practical to delay making any decision
waiting for some random comment.
Maybe I can try again without jumping to any conclusions:
Do I understand correctly that the features are being dropped entirely?
Did the decision include some consideration that these features may
still have some use above and beyond the original performance issues?
Is it too late to consider keeping the features, with access through the
options toolbar?
