Assuming you are using Windows, it can be done in Windows Explorer. On
the menu bar click "Tools", then click "Folder options", then click on
the "File Types" tab of the tabbed dialog.
Select the file type you want to change, then click the change button.
The "Open with" dialog will appear. Select OpenOffice.org, make sure
the "Always use the selected program" box is checked and click
the "OK" button.
