A second consideration is that at some point I will be passing on
the membership list to someone else who may well be using MS Office.
I am concerned that it may not be easy to do the transfer. I have
transferred spreadsheets both ways with relative ease. I have my doubts
about Base-Access transfers. The database started life using Access.
I tried opening the Access file with OOo and it didn't like it.
