[users] Openoffice.org base with Vista Home Premium

I am trying to use openoffice base 2.3 with Windows Vista Home premium. 
Everthing seems to be OK except that I cant edit my tables. I have followed 
instructions from help and from the PDF download. I have registered the 
database, opened it for edit but the edit key is greyed out.
   
  I have created new databases from scratch in design view and from connection 
to existing access files and from data imported into calc but in each case I 
cannot edit the data.
