If that is the same product as advertised at officebestdeals dot com,
then the product is downloaded from
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=winwjre&lang=en-US&version=2.3.1
according to the page http://www.officebestdeal.com/ac9811.htm I
question whether or not the even changed the name when ti starts up?
(perhaps somebody who was suckered into paying for Opaloffice can
confirm that the name is changed in the software, such that a
recompile is required.

If they aren't providing source when it is being distributed (and the
above URL that points to the official OOo download site indicates
otherwise), they have to provide source code to all and sundry on
request. And since they can't charge more than the cost of the medium
that the source code is provided on.....

OOo can not correct for incompetence in creating documents from MSO.
Furthermore,OOo can not compensate for the defective and flawed
security measures used by Microsoft. As such, before using this product
for exams that require faulty and defective software, ensure that you
will not be unjustly penalized for the incompetence of the organization
that requires the use of software that is known to be flawed,
defective, bug-ridden, and fails to meet ISO file format standards.
