Sigh... I only hope that amongst all of the nonsense that you've gotten your answer. Further to my last; I've found that you can be rather creative with shadows & also use proper fonts if you open a text box first from the fontwork menu (AI icon), insert your text in the font style you want, select arc, font color, and shadow color.
