The same page also explains why we get emails saying

"I am using version X.Y of OpenOffice.org......"

with /literal/ "X.Y". Literal-minded newbies.

Odd that searching google for "YOU MUST GIVE A SUMMARY HERE" doesn't 
find this page.

I think the page needs a complete rewrite - it's very confusing and 
assumes too much knowledge where it's transparently clear now that none 
exists.
