These aren't touched by udpates.
OpenOffice.org 2.3\share\uno_packages shouldn't too ...
(... but there's the experience with 'dictionary.lst', which is always
overwritten ...)
On my Mac
~/Applications/OpenOffice.0rg2.4.app/Contents/share/uno_packages.
I expect that these would be overwritten on an update since the update
replaces the whole .dmg package.
