I'll just add that it gives little advantage if you switch to OpenOffice only to keep older Microsoft formats around. Please everybody: convert as many of your files as you can to OpenDocument, the international open standard which is the default in OpenOffice send by email or publish online, whenever you can, only documents in ODF format, instead of ANY Microsoft Office format (including RTF) make clear that you only accept or prefer very much, depending on the context, to receive ODF files instead of ones in Microsoft Office formats. demand that all your public administrations, from local to national, do all of the above More about why this is so important at: http://www.linuxjournal.com/node/8616 http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/9594#mpart8 http://digifreedom.net/node/45 Marco -- Your own civil rights and the quality of your life heavily depend on how software is used *around* you: http://digifreedom.net/node/84 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
