Sir, the technical answer is at the bottom, but there is a more important point first. OpenOffice can be downloaded for free from www.openoffice.org . [email protected] is a public mailing list (with public archives accessible to every Internet user) for volunteer OpenOffice support. It is perfectly legal for any third party to sell OpenOffice copies or related services at any price they chose, but neither www.openoffice.org or this list have any relation with those organization. Therefore, any support you may or may not receive from this address has nothing to do with how much you paid and to who. Did whoever asked you to pay 47 USD to use openoffice also sell you support through this address? If yes, I'm afraid they tricked you. This said, if you click on File->New in the top menu, you'll have the choice to create new spreadsheets, presentations and the other types of documents supported by OpenOffice.
