I have a desktop computer operating with Windows XP. I have two problems using
Open Office.
1°--When I send an attachment written with my O.O 2.3 word processor, the
people who receive it cannot open it. Would downloading JAVA into their
computer solve this problem or would they have to download the whole Open
Office too?
2°--When I downloaded Open Office 2.3, I was offered an option (which I took)
to use Open Office to open Powerpoint and Excel documents. I frequently receive
e-mails with Powerpoint Diaporama attachments.I can visualise the graphic part
of it, but I cannot hear the accompanying soundtrack. My speakers are
operational, I can listen to music and I get the sound signal when I open or
close the computer. Any suggestions to solve this problem ?
