To whom this concerns: I have a two questions about Open Office before I decide whether or not to download it. I have a new computer with Windows Vista Home edition. I do not currently have any software installed.
First, I am a student at a University. The University uses Microsoft. When I access files saved to the University network from my home computer, will they automatically open as Open Office documents? Will I be able to save documents that I create in Open Office to the University network and then open them from computers at the University? Second, can I un-install Open Office if I decide I would rather use a different software package? Thank you for yor time. -Emily
