Yet a single instance of OOo can be installed on all computer desktops, laptops, super cray computers, grid computer clusters, etc.... that you can get your hands on. Whether it is for home use (1-2 computers) to a learning institution ( > 1000 computers) the one instance does it all... That is not something that MS Office (regardless of flavour) can replicate.
