After a helpful private reply from Brian Barker, I now know why OpenOffice
was not appearing in my Start - All Programs screen - it had overflowed
off-screen!

I am used to seeing the last thing I installed at the end of the list (which
is now 3 full columns long) and OpenOffice was not there until I re-sorted
the list by name.

Thanks!
