| Hi | | I was interested in the recent suggestions regarding templates in | Open Office, and toddled off and downloaded two: LoremIpsum.oxt and | Sun_ODF_Template_Pack_en_US.oxt. But what do I do with them now? At | present they are residing in aTemplates folder in my Home folder. | | Regards from New Zealand on a very hot and humid Friday afternoon. | | Zed No Zed, ".oxt" files are extensions, not templates. I would suggest moving them out of your templates folder, to a temporary/ holding folder, then open an OOo module (eg. Writer) and use the "Tools -> Extensions Manger -> Add..." menu option to install these extensions. Hope this helps.
