Dear Madame/Sir,
I am happy to use open office suite for my work in the last 2 months. Working
with it is as comfortable as using microsoft office. However, I encounter
problem when I sent my work with partners since my open document files can not
be open perfectly as I use my open office, eventhough I saved my work in Words
97 format. Should you be any suggestion in this situation would be highly
appreciated.

As good as OpenOffice is, there may be some compatibility issues, as the developers have to reverse engineer the Microsoft file formats. What you may want to do, is download & install the free Microsoft Word viewer, which will allow you to view your document, before sending it on. If the recipient is not going to edit the file, you might consider creating a PDF. Another possiblilty is to get your partners to install the Sun ODF plug-in, or better yet, OpenOffice, so they can work directly with ODF files.
