I've found the debs downloaded from OOo work well, so you can get the
latest version. Just download the file,untar it and use dpkg -i *.deb
to install it all.

I use debian testing and ran into conflicts yesterday when 2.3.1 made
it into the debian repository. I eventually sorted it out though.
