I have Visio (old Tech 5.0a version before they were bought by MS) and Dia (linux - http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia/). I find myself using Dia quite often now and seldom bring up Visio in Wine (linux). Furthermore, there is a very large selection of shapes & tools for Dia that are not available for my old version of Visio. In addition, if I do something thing in Dia, I can export it to OOo & OOo to Dia. That said, you can do some pretty sophisticated things with Draw; for the OP - here is a link to some basic shapes/templates from Mark Lautman to try: http://www.lautman.net/mark/coo/index.html and a nice tutorial: http://www.lautman.net/mark/coo/tutorial.html For a coolness test, just take one of the layered shapes and turn on 3D :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
