[repost because of stupid typos - apologies]

I know people in a large business that used Visio , but actually are happier with the possibilities of Draw, for technical drawings, schemes, because of styles, layered stuff. It's not my personal expertise, but sometimes I have the impression that Draw is a little under estimated.

You know: I'll drop them a line and ask if they can explain what makes them feel so good about Draw.

I received a reply from the business relation. The points he mentioned:
- using Draw is very intuitive;
- lot of possibilities in combination with the shift-key;
- using styles and double clicking on icons for shapes etc. important;
- extend the gallery;
- documentation from OOoAuthors is very useful
        (something I hear regularly, BTW, So a big + for them!)
- created templates for technical drawings (schemas computer network, electro technical installations);
- combining shapes in groups, which can be done trapped is very handy;
- Draw starts quickly compared to Visio;
- commands are more logical placed (what in effect means that you have to search the first time, because you've learned the wrong places ;-) ; - had VBA in Visio, which didn't work with newer version, nor did conversion of that code took place; returning to an previous version of Visio had a result that newer drawings were unusable (so, typical Ms-stuff, I would say);
- needles integration with other OOo modules.

What I would like to add: few month ago I needed a banner for a stand.
Started a Draw-page 85x225 cm. added text, pictures etc to my need,
exported as PDF to the one printing the banner, and that was it :-)

Other handy and positive experiences ??

Regards,
Cor
