EarthLink Revolves Around You.

I HAVE MICROSOFT OFFICE 2000 INSTALLED IN MY PC. IS IT ADVISABLE TO HAVE YOUR FREE VERSION OF OPENOFFICE ALONGSIDE MICROSOFT OFFICE ? WILL IT EFFECT THE WORKING OF MY COMPUTER IN ANY WAY? I AM VERY MUCH INTRESTED IN TRYING IT OUT. DO I NEED TO DELETE OFFICE 2000? I HAVE FRIENDS THAT CAN NEVER AFFORD AN OFFICE SUITE. I AM EXCITED ABOUT SHARING THIS INFORMATION WITH THEM. P.S. I ALSO CANNOTAFFORD TO UPGRADE TO OFFICE 2008 THANK YOU SO MUCH LUIS M DELAHOYA

You can have both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office installed on the same computer, as I do at work. During the install, you'll be asked if you want to make OpenOffice the default application for Microsoft Office files. This is a personal decision, which can easily be changed later. Feel free to recommend OpenOffice to others and also pass it around and install on as many computers as you wish. It's always available for free from www.openoffice.org. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac and other operating systems.
