Thanks for your message. I have the current version on my new computer which at present lacks a printer. My old computer runs Windows Me and demands version 1.1.5 I went through the sequence (yesterday the "select download site" button didn't do anything). I now have a file C:\unzipped\OOo_1.1.5_Win32Intel_install[1] which I don't know how to deal with. Can you help me some more?

Regards,

I can find no way on the OpenOffice 1.1.5 download page to set the thing going. Can somebody help?

Why do you want 1.1.5? It's *very* out of date. The current version is 2.3.1 with 2.4 due out soon. Go to www.openoffice.org, press the big green "Get OpenOffice.org" button and follow the instructions.

If, for some reason I can't fathom, you insist on version 1.1.5, then go to http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.5/index.html and fill in the form asking you for Language, Operating System and Download Site. After you choose the download site you are taken to a different page with a button labelled "Continue to download". Press it and ....
