You double click on that file you downloaded, to start the installation
process.
Also, v1.1.5 can read, though not write the new ODF file formats that v2.x
support by default. This means you don't have to save in the older
format.
Also, do you have a network connection between the two computers? If so,
it's a simple matter to share the printer.

Double clicking on the file revealed the usual bewildering array of files;
but encouraged by your message I took a good look at them all, found one
labelled Setup.exe, which seemed just what I wanted, clicked it, and off it
went.
