Assuming you're using Windows, after you download OpenOffice, you have
to double click on the file you downloaded. This will start the
installation process, which should take you through a few installation
panels. After that is completed, there should be an OpenOffice.org
folder & icons in your Start menu. You use the icons to start the
various OpenOffice components.
