I have downloaded open office for my daughter for school.
I need a code to activate this programme.
Can you give this to me.
There is a phone number in Belgium 090999412 but i have already been trying for
2 days but i don't get in.
There is no code required to active open office.
Some vendors do sell OpenOffice.org and those vendors might require a
code. But you can obtain standard OpenOffice free directly from
OpenOffice.org at http://download.openoffice.org/ for no cost whatsoever
and no code required now or ever. (There are also some variant versions
of OpenOffice that are also entirely free.)
It is possible that your problem is something other than needing a code.
Perhaps you are having some problems installing OpenOffice.org properly?
Installation details differ slightly depending on operating systems, but
essentially you should have received a package named something like
OOo_2.3.1_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe in the folder selected by
your download manager. This is a large install and will take some time
to download. Clicking on the downloaded icon will then install
OpenOffice.org. You should then be able to find OpenOffice.org modules
on your program menu and open these modules by clicking on them.
If you have any further difficulties please send them to
[email protected], not to the email address for this message. As you
