There's also plenty of places in the Ozark Mountains that has nothing
more than dial up.... and it's slower than a slug's pace.

Yes, it does. There are plenty of places in the UK that can only get
dial-up. Then there are the people that choose DU over BB on a cost
basis. Although the gap in price is now almost non-existent.
