Dear HS,

What are you using as your LaTex ".tex" file viewer ???

I viewed it in Gedit (a text editor in Gnome). But usually I use Emacs to edit LaTeX source files in Linux. However, the editor shouldn't matter. You mentioned LED in your message below. If this is the same as this: http://www.latexeditor.org/, you should be fine.

I have been trying to install PDFTeX with no success.

I think proTeXt is what you need. I don't use Windows much, from this web page (http://www.latex-project.org/ftp.html), looks like it guides the user through an installation.

It will convert my produced '.tex" file to a PDF file based
on the specs. Helps check the LaTex ".tex file" produced
by OO.

I am using Windows ME, and a HP 7855 Pavilion PC Desktop
PC (old machine but reliable ).. The Explorer is Ver. 6.0.2800....

I have viewed your equation in "LED" as a .tex file and
I see the matrix there.

Best, .....HM
