To Whom It May Concern:
Every program in your suite is excellent. However, I am temporarily very short of RAM right now (20% free space) on my C: drive. I do have space on my D: drive which is predominantly used for backup. Can I use it on the D drive?
Therefore, I thought I'd ask if I could just download Writerf and Impress until I can aford more RAM. The worst you can say is No."
You can only download the entire package. However it is possible to
install only part of OpenOffice, though that's not recommended as it
won't save much space and you may lose some functionality. You can
install on another drive, but you have to select Custom Install to do
so. Incidentally, RAM is memory, not disk space and 20% doesn't mean
much, without reference to the total size of the drive or partition.
How much actual free space to you have?
