Still what I am basically saying is that you should go over to
Firefox. It is designed to be compliant with W3C code, it is more
secure than M$ IE, and finally, it is way more fun!

Small, polite request to you, James, and others; *please* don't respond
to posters requests for help, particularly unsubscribe posters, with
disparaging and sophomoric remarks about the software the poster is
using and/or asking about - in this case Microsoft. Doing so only
demeans OOo and the purpose of this list.
Which James are you referring to? I always try to be polite when
responding to questions, and have even pointed out not so polite
comments to others on this list.

I am not a James, but . . .
Can we knock MS's software if the reply did not say anything
about them using MS's or other software?
We all need to watch our "typing" when talking about someones
software, but sometimes you need to tell someone NOT to
use that software. I just did in my last post - it was not a MS product.
Sure MS has its good points, few and far between, but I still
have it on my laptop. YET, I use OpenOffice.org 99% of the
time over MS Office. I still have to help people with MS
troubles, since they will not move to our beautiful OpenOffice land.
But yes, MS demeans OOo alot in the press, in oh so legal ways.
And yes, OOo users demean MS Office, here and other places.
I have to say I HATE MS Office with a passion. But that is my
option, What is yours? (as the old news commentary use to say)
That is the key, these email are our options.
I gave my opinion eariler in this thread about the IE vs Firefox
message. FireFox is better in almost every way. But some
web sites write their code to specific IE options that are not
W3C compliant. That is the real trouble. Keep things compliant
with the World Standards if you want the world to use them.
And that is my opinion, What's yours?
