I have two computers, using Window XP Home Edition operating
system. I have had Open Office software installed on one
computer for over a year and it operates great. I have tried
installing Open Office software on the second computer a couple
of different times and it will not install correctly.
I installed Norton 360 on both computers today and thought I
would try downloading and installing Open Office on the 2nd
computer again. It downloaded fine, but when I tried to install
the software I got the following message--
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
NSIS Error
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be the result of a damaged dis, a failer download or
a virus.
You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a
new copy.
It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC common
line switch ( NOT RECOMMENDED )
It's a bogus report from Norton. Skip the test and any other that cause
problems or just turn on Norton, until OO is installed.
