Hi, I upgraded to 2.3, but I'm left with a folder titled
'Openoffice.org 2.3 Installation Files' on my desktop. What do I do
with it , can I delete it ?
Please conntact me and let me know, I'd really apprecicate it.
Yes, you can delete it. It's served it's purpose.

Keep the downloaded install program and pass it along
to year friends. Sme people will not try the free stuff
if they have to download it themselves, dialup connectors
are most of these people.
I hand out CDs with OOo and all of the Help files in PDF
thay I find, plus samples, samples, samples.
Worked for me to get many, many people to use it.
I got 3 companies to try it that way before they made
OOo their default software.
I carry a USB flash drive, that has OpenOffice (including portable apps
version) & docs, Seamonkey, Firefox, Thunderbird etc., so that I'm always
ready to install the software for someone.

I have several of those drives, but most people want to have a CD to keep.
Also most people I deal with do not have a USB plug in front, and with my
"injuries", it is difficult to place it in the "hidden" ports in the back of
the
computers. They always seem to take a contortionist to get to the back
of the boxes on the bottom shelves of the computer desks. That is one
reason for CDs
Sometimes I leave off some stuff so I can get your list included on the CD.
I usually keep a few CDs with me and just hand them out.
