Thank you. What command do I use to start OOo? I tired "start" and I tried "open." "open OOo gave me an error message: /Users/REB/OOo does not exist. Ralph __________________________ Double-clicking on the item in the Applications Folder works for me. But only after X11 is already running. By the way, there's a new "snapshot" of the Aqua version of OOo out. This does NOT require X11, and, so far, it seems to work pretty well, much more stable and functional than the last snapshot. You can get to the new snapshot from here: http://tinyurl.com/2kaxrk John
