I have just upgraded with OO 2.4 and now find that the extension of my
text files have changed from Microsoft word 97/2000/XP to Type: DOC and
consequently I can only open them by right clicking them and using the
"open with" from the menu and selecting "swriter"
Those files that were saved as ODF Text Document (.odt) are OK but they
are less that 5% of my total files.
Converting them one at a time is a pain. Also my e-amailing partners
cannot open then either which is a bigger pain. So where do I go from here ?
