There are freeware alternatives to Sibelius - depends what you need of course. Rosegarden for example has come on leaps and bounds lately, I believe. OT for this list though. BTW I believe you're not subscribed - you might like to consider doing this. http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html for info. Oh, depending on your confidence (& competence with XP, I have to say), it is possible to go through the registry and remove by hand all (well, "enough") references to particular installed software to do a full "uninstall". It's tedious, and /very/ fraught though. It looks like the only thing you haven't tried! Very definitely /NOT/ for the casual user - and very much a final kill-or-cure resort, and make sure you have a registry backup plus recovery disk handy just in case it goes pearshaped, which is quite likely. -- Permission for this mail to be processed by any third party in connection with marketing or advertising purposes is hereby explicitly denied. http://www.scottsonline.org.uk lists incoming sites blocked because of spam [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
