Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to install the OOo
binaries. It looks like I don't have Java already in
my system. I tried a

emerge --pretend java
[/code]
and it is not it.
I would like to have OO 2.4, so I guess that I'll have
to figure out how to install a minimal Java.
On a second tought, there should be somewhere a cup of
Java, otherwise how will browsers know what to do with
applets?
I'll dig out :-)
