I can't find a way to change the symbol associated with a footnote.
For example, suppose I've decided that footnotes 1 and 2 should be
come footnotes x and y. How can I change the symbols for the footnotes?
As a workaround, I can insert new footnotes, copy/paste the footnote
text from the old to new footnotes, then delete the old footnotes, but
that's rather roundabout. Is there a more direct way?
Thanks,
Scott
