Yes, that was my point too and I thought I explained that when I said:

"And, once again I am not sure about Windows, but I defined my own keyboard
layout, so I now have 4 different characters on most keys (I put labels on
my keys so I won't forget which key is what), so I just use the AltGr key
(is this a standard key or is it only available on Swedish keyboards?) and
Shift key to call the different characters. I even have symbols on my arrow
keys, such as ←, ↓, → and ↑, and they still work also as just arrow keys
(when not using the AltGr key)."

All this was about my own configuration. Maybe it was easy to misunderstand
and I apologize if that's the case.
