Sorry to read that. A bunch of questions on that:

- What mail software are you using to read / post messages on this list?

- Can you provide an example of one of the .ezw files you recieved
  through this list? Maybe people could help you any further, then.

Calm down. :) Most of the OOo support material (documentation) actually
_is_ in human-readable format, most notably HTML and/or PDF, to be
found at [1]. On-list communication, here, mainly happens in plain-text
format as well, nothing even closely related to what .ezw touches. If
you still recieve .ezw files, this is an issue that should be resolved.
My first bet however would be that your mail client does something
arcane to the attachments recieved. But, as said, this is to be
resolved. Do you have one of these .ezws handy?
