Thank you. It was unclear to me whether or not I should have installed v. 2.4 over 1.1, but I took a chance on uninstalling. It worked fine, and the installer must have recognized my earlier version or my resident StarOffice 8, as well. My second point is a question: I have registered all your software applications before, I have sent you $ Bucks $, and I'm sending more, so, must I reregister OpenOffice v. 2.4 ? At your registration web site <http://www.openoffice.org/license.html > I was asked about a Screen Name and a Password. If I had one I forgot both, so, I requested to be assigned a SUN account.
