I started using your program in November, 2007 when I purchased a new computer
and this was on it.
I am having difficulty using this and go back to word and other programs
because I have been unable to understand the operation and it is easier to use
an old program than learn a new one, although I am always excited about using a
new program. I am also a quick learner.
Every once in a while I get a message about downloading an update. There is
always insufficient information telling me what this is as well as the the
size and the time to download. I have spent countless hours downloading
updates only to have them be unsuccessful. I get messages such as this program
has been incorrupted.
I am very dissatisfied with this.
Today I started to download OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 and it is still only at 41%.
I would like to be able to use all of these programs, but find it difficult.

Are you using dial up internet access? If so, you could be losing the
connection part way through the download. An update in OpenOffice means
installing the entire new version. What happens if you manually
download the latest version from www.openoffice.org and then install it?
