I am currently using OOo 2.3, but over the weekend I plan to upgrade my Gutsy x86_64 computer to Hardy, which will automatically upgrade OOo to 2.4.
The problem is that my university has deployed OOo 2.2 on all university computers, including those in student computer labs and classrooms, all of which run Windows XP. Later this term I am going to have to do a class presentation that will require Impress. I'd rather not export to PDF, although I will do so as a backup option. The university computers also all have Microsoft Office 2003, but I don't want to depend on an export to Powerpoint, although I will do so also as another backup option. I can also connect my own computer to the projector in the classroom, but that is even chancier. Will OOo 2.2/Windows be able to open my Impress 2.4/Linux file? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
